Bu metin, WordKare mobil uygulamasının (iOS ve Android) ve uygulamanın kullandığı sunucuların kişisel verilerinizi nasıl işlediğini, 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu'nun (KVKK) 10. maddesi ve AB Genel Veri Koruma Tüzüğü'nün (GDPR) 13. maddesi kapsamında açıklar.

2. Kısaca

WordKare çevrimdışı çalışır ve reklam içermez. Kişisel veri satmayız, reklam ya da profil çıkarma için kullanmayız.
Hesap isteğe bağlıdır. Giriş yapmazsanız ilerlemeniz yalnızca cihazınızda kalır.
Giriş yaparsanız e-posta adresiniz ve ilerlemeniz, cihazlarınız arasında eşitlenmek için sunucumuzda saklanır.
Öğrenme verisi yalnızca izin verirseniz gönderilir. Adınıza, e-postanıza ya da hesabınıza bağlanmaz; rastgele bir kurulum kimliğiyle tutulur (takma adlı veri).
Game Center (yalnız iOS, açarsanız) skorlarınızı ve başarımlarınızı Apple'a gönderir.
İsteğe bağlı destek (bahşiş): Ödemeyi Apple ya da Google alır; kart ve ödeme bilgileriniz bize gelmez. Destek ekranını açarsanız, destekçi işaretini gösterebilmek ve geri yükleyebilmek için uygulama rastgele bir kimlikle RevenueCat'e bağlanır ve satın alma kaydınız orada tutulur. Ekranı açmazsanız RevenueCat'e hiçbir şey gönderilmez.

3. Hangi verileri, ne zaman işliyoruz

a) Yalnızca cihazınızda kalanlar (her kullanıcı). Bulmaca ilerlemeniz, kelime defteriniz ve tekrar takviminiz, seri, günlük hedef, rozetler, ölçülen seviyeniz, ayarlarınız ve "Hata bildir" notlarınız uygulamanın cihazınızdaki veritabanında tutulur. Siz giriş yapmadıkça ya da izin vermedikçe bunlar cihazdan çıkmaz. Cihazınızın kendi yedeği (iCloud, Google yedeği) bunları kapsayabilir; bu yedekler Apple'ın ve Google'ın koşullarına tabidir.

b) Hesap ve senkron (yalnızca giriş yaparsanız).

Kimlik ve iletişim: e-posta adresiniz.
Hesap bilgileri: rastgele hesap ve cihaz kimlikleri, hesabın oluşturulma zamanı; cihaz türü (iOS/Android/web), uygulama sürümü, bağlanma ve son eşitleme zamanı; olaylarla birlikte gönderilen rastgele kurulum kimliği.
Eşitlenen ilerleme: çözdüğünüz ve yarım kalan bulmacalar (harfler, ipucu sayısı, süre), kelime sonuçlarınız (kelime, bildin/zorlandın/bilemedin, gün ve saat) ve tekrar takviminiz, seriniz, ölçülen seviyeniz, günlük hedefiniz, günün bulmacaları, "erken kullanıcı" erişim bilginiz.
Giriş kodu: e-postanıza gönderilen 6 haneli kod. Sunucuda yalnızca geri çevrilemez bir özeti tutulur ve 10 dakika geçerlidir.

c) Öğrenme verisi (takma adlı; yalnızca izin verirseniz). Uygulama ilk açılışta sorar; kararınızı Ayarlar › Gizlilik'ten her zaman değiştirebilirsiniz.

Gönderilenler: olayın tarihi ve saati, alıştırma türü (bulmaca/tekrar), çalıştığınız kelime, uzunluğu ve sonucu (bildin/zorlandın/bilemedin), harflerin nasıl geldiği (kendiniz yazdınız / çapraz kelimeden geldi / ipucuyla açıldı / boş), bulmaca kimliği ve süresi, rastgele bir kurulum kimliği, oturum kimliği ve uygulama sürümü.
Ad, e-posta ve reklam kimliği gönderilmez. Bu veri hesabınıza bağlanmaz. Kurulum kimliği kalıcı olduğu için bu veri anonim değil, takma adlıdır.
İzninizi geri alırsanız gönderim durur ve kurulum kimliği cihazdan silinir. Daha önce gönderilen veri en çok 12 ay saklanır; silinmesini isterseniz izni geri almadan önce bize yazın.

d) Güvenlik ve teknik kayıtlar. Kötüye kullanımı önlemek için sunucu, giriş kodu isteyen ve kodu doğrulayan IP adresini ve kod istenen e-posta adresini kısa süreli deneme sayaçlarında tutar. Sunucu hata kayıtları yalnız hata türünü içerir, kişisel veri içermez. Altyapı sağlayıcımız Cloudflare, bağlantıyı kurmak ve hizmeti saldırılara karşı korumak için IP adresi gibi bağlantı bilgilerini işler.

e) Game Center (yalnız iOS, isteğe bağlı). Game Center'a giriş yaptıysanız skorlarınız ve başarımlarınız doğrudan Apple'a gönderilir ve Apple'ın gizlilik politikasına tabidir. Skor tablosunda Apple'ın gösterdiği oyuncu adınızı görebiliriz.

f) İsteğe bağlı destek (bahşiş; yalnızca destek ekranını açarsanız). Destek ekranını açtığınızda uygulama, fiyatları ve daha önceki destek satın alımlarınızı göstermek için RevenueCat ile iletişim kurar. Satın alırsanız ödemeyi Apple ya da Google işler; biz ve RevenueCat kart ya da ödeme bilgilerinizi görmeyiz. RevenueCat'e giden veriler: uygulamanın oluşturduğu rastgele bir kullanıcı kimliği (adınıza, e-postanıza ya da WordKare hesabınıza bağlanmaz; takma adlı veri), satın aldığınız ürün, tarih, fiyat ve para birimi, mağaza ülkesi, mağazanın verdiği işlem kimliği, ayrıca cihaz türü, işletim sistemi ve uygulama sürümü ile isteğin IP adresi. Bu kayıt destekçi işaretinizi göstermek ve "Satın alımları geri yükle" ile geri getirmek için kullanılır. Destek ekranını hiç açmazsanız (ve açılışta ya da arka planda) RevenueCat'e hiçbir veri gönderilmez; ekranı açar açmaz bağlantı kurulur, bir şey satın almasanız bile kimlik, cihaz ve IP bilgisi yukarıdaki gibi gönderilir.

İşlemediklerimiz: Şifre, kart ve ödeme bilgisi, konum, rehber, fotoğraf, mikrofon, reklam kimliği (IDFA/AAID). Üçüncü taraf reklam ya da izleme kodu kullanmayız; App Tracking Transparency kapsamında izleme yapmayız.

Kişisel veriler elektronik ortamda, uygulama ve sunucu üzerinden otomatik yollarla toplanır. Yalnızca yukarıdaki amaçlarla, amaçla sınırlı ve ölçülü biçimde işlenir. Otomatik karar verme ya da profil çıkarma yapılmaz. Uygulamanın gösterdiği "seviye" yalnızca size hangi bulmacaların önerileceğini belirler; hukuki ya da benzeri önemli bir sonuç doğurmaz.

Veri vermek zorunlu mu? Hayır. E-posta yalnızca hesap için gereklidir; vermezseniz uygulamayı hesapsız, eksiksiz kullanırsınız, yalnızca eşitleme olmaz. Öğrenme verisi paylaşımı isteğe bağlıdır; reddetmek hiçbir özelliği kısıtlamaz.

5. Saklama süreleri

Cihazdaki veri: Siz silene kadar. Ayarlar › İlerlemeyi sıfırla, ya da uygulamayı kaldırma.
Hesap ve eşitlenen ilerleme: Hesabınızı silene kadar. Silme anında hesabınız, eşitlenen veriniz, cihaz kayıtlarınız, bekleyen giriş kodunuz ve e-postanızı taşıyan deneme sayacı hemen silinir. IP adresli deneme sayaçları en çok 2 gün içinde, veritabanının geri yükleme kayıtları en geç 30 gün içinde kendiliğinden silinir. Cihazlarınızdaki ilerleme cihazlarınızda kalır.
Giriş kodları: 10 dakika; süresi dolanlar her gece silinir.
Deneme sayaçları: En çok 2 gün.
Öğrenme verisi: En çok 12 ay; daha eskisi her gün otomatik silinir.
Destek satın alma kaydı (RevenueCat): Destekçi işaretinizin geri yüklenebilmesi için siz silinmesini isteyene kadar. Bize e-postayla yazıp Apple ya da Google makbuzunuzdaki sipariş numarasını iletirseniz, eşleşen kayıt RevenueCat'ten silinir (bundan sonra destekçi işareti geri yüklenemez). Apple ve Google kendi satın alma kayıtlarını kendi kurallarına göre tutar.

6. Verilerin aktarılması

Altyapı: Sunucularımız ve e-posta gönderimi Cloudflare, Inc. (ABD) altyapısında çalışır. Cloudflare veri işleyendir; sözleşmeyle bu metindeki korumayı sağlamakla yükümlüdür. Hesap, senkron ve öğrenme verisi Cloudflare'in Avrupa Birliği'ndeki veri merkezlerinde saklanır.
Game Center: Açarsanız Apple Inc. Game Center'ı açarsanız verileriniz Apple'ın yurt dışındaki sunucularına aktarılır.
Destek satın alımları: Ödemeyi Apple Inc. ya da Google LLC işler. Satın alma kaydını, veri işleyenimiz RevenueCat, Inc. (ABD) tutar; bu kayıt ABD'deki sunuculara aktarılır ve RevenueCat sözleşmeyle bu metindeki korumayı sağlamakla yükümlüdür.
Seslendirme: İngilizce kelimeler cihazınızın işletim sistemindeki metin okuma motoruyla seslendirilir. WordKare bu amaçla kendisi veri göndermez.
Diğer: Verilerinizi başka hiçbir üçüncü kişiyle paylaşmayız, satmayız. Yasal bir zorunluluk doğarsa yalnızca yetkili kamu kurumlarına, kanunun istediği ölçüde aktarılır.

7. Haklarınız

KVKK m.11 ve GDPR m.15–22 uyarınca şu haklara sahipsiniz:

verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme ve bilgi isteme,
işleme amacını ve amaca uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını öğrenme,
verilerin aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri bilme,
eksik ya da yanlış verinin düzeltilmesini, silinmesini ya da yok edilmesini isteme, bunun aktarılan kişilere bildirilmesini isteme,
yalnızca otomatik işlemeye dayanan aleyhinize bir sonuca itiraz etme,
kanuna aykırı işleme nedeniyle zararın giderilmesini talep etme,
verilerinizi taşınabilir biçimde alma,
açık rızanızı her zaman geri alma (geri alma, önceki işlemenin hukuka uygunluğunu etkilemez),
meşru menfaate dayanan işlemeye itiraz etme.

Diğer talepler: Hesabınız olsun olmasın [email protected] adresine yazabilirsiniz. Hesabınız varsa kayıtlı e-posta adresinizden yazmanız kimliğinizi doğrulamamızı kolaylaştırır. Talebiniz en geç 30 gün içinde ücretsiz yanıtlanır.

Şikâyet hakkınız saklıdır: Türkiye'de Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu'na, AB'de yaşıyorsanız ülkenizin veri koruma otoritesine (ör. İspanya'da AEPD) başvurabilirsiniz.

8. Güvenlik

Bütün bağlantılar HTTPS ile şifrelenir.
Cihaz oturum anahtarı cihazınızın güvenli deposunda (iOS Anahtar Zinciri, Android Keystore) tutulur; yedekten başka bir cihaza geçse bile orada kullanılamaz.
Sunucuda oturum anahtarlarının ve giriş kodlarının yalnızca geri çevrilemez özetleri saklanır.
Giriş denemeleri sınırlıdır.

9. Çocuklar

WordKare 13 yaşından küçük çocuklara yönelik değildir. 13 yaşından küçük olduğunu bildiğimiz bir kullanıcıdan bilerek kişisel veri toplamayız. Böyle bir hesap fark edersek sileriz; bize bildirebilirsiniz. 16 yaşından küçükseniz (İspanya'da 14), öğrenme verisi paylaşımını velinizin izni olmadan açmayın.

10. Değişiklikler

Bu metin değiştiğinde güncel hâli bu sayfada yürürlük tarihiyle yayımlanır. Veri işlemeyi önemli ölçüde değiştiren bir güncelleme, uygulama sürümü yayımlanmadan önce burada duyurulur.

This policy explains how the WordKare mobile app (iOS and Android) and the servers it uses process your personal data, as required by Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

2. In short

WordKare works offline and has no ads. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising or profiling.
An account is optional. If you do not sign in, your progress stays only on your device.
If you sign in, your e-mail address and progress are stored on our server so they can sync between your devices.
Learning data is sent only if you allow it. It is not linked to your name, e-mail or account; it is kept with a random install ID (pseudonymous data).
Game Center (iOS only, if you turn it on) sends your scores and achievements to Apple.
Optional tips: Apple or Google takes the payment; your card and payment details never reach us. If you open the support screen, the app connects to RevenueCat under a random ID so your supporter mark can be shown and restored, and a record of your purchase is kept there. If you never open it, nothing is sent to RevenueCat.

3. What we process, and when

a) Kept only on your device (everyone). Your puzzle progress, word notebook and review schedule, streak, daily goal, badges, measured level, settings and "Report a problem" notes are stored in the app's database on your device. They do not leave your device unless you sign in or allow sharing. Your device's own backup (iCloud, Google backup) may include them under Apple's or Google's terms.

b) Account and sync (only if you sign in).

Identity and contact: your e-mail address.
Account data: random account and device IDs, account creation time; device type (iOS/Android/web), app version, link and last-sync times; the random install ID sent with events.
Synced progress: solved and unfinished puzzles (letters, hints used, time), your word results (word, knew it / hard / did not know, date and time) and review schedule, streak, measured level, daily goal, daily puzzles, and your "early user" access flag.
Sign-in code: the 6-digit code sent to your e-mail. The server keeps only an irreversible hash; it is valid for 10 minutes.

c) Learning data (pseudonymous; only if you allow it). The app asks on first launch; you can change your choice at any time in Settings › Privacy.

What is sent: date and time of the event, practice type (puzzle/review), the word, its length and your result (knew it / hard / did not know), how the letters were filled (typed by you / from a crossing word / revealed by a hint / empty), puzzle ID and time, a random install ID, a session ID and the app version.
No name, e-mail or advertising ID is sent. This data is not linked to your account. Because the install ID is persistent, this data is pseudonymous, not anonymous.
If you withdraw consent, sending stops and the install ID is deleted from your device. Data already sent is kept for at most 12 months; if you want it deleted, write to us before you withdraw consent.

d) Security and technical records. To prevent abuse, the server keeps the IP address that asks for or checks a sign-in code, and the e-mail address a code was asked for, in short-lived attempt counters. Server error logs contain only the error type, no personal data. Our infrastructure provider Cloudflare processes connection data such as your IP address to make the connection and protect the service from attacks.

e) Game Center (iOS only, optional). If you are signed in to Game Center, your scores and achievements are sent directly to Apple and are covered by Apple's privacy policy. We can see the player name Apple shows on the leaderboard.

f) Optional tips (only if you open the support screen). When you open the support screen, the app contacts RevenueCat to show prices and any earlier tips. If you buy one, Apple or Google processes the payment; neither we nor RevenueCat see your card or payment details. Data sent to RevenueCat: a random user ID created by the app (not linked to your name, e-mail or WordKare account; pseudonymous data), the product you bought, its date, price and currency, your store country, the store's transaction ID, plus device type, operating system and app version and the request's IP address. This record is used to show your supporter mark and to bring it back with "Restore purchases". If you never open the support screen, no data is sent to RevenueCat (not at launch and not in the background); as soon as you open it the connection is made, and even if you buy nothing, the ID, device and IP data above are sent.

We do not process: passwords, card or payment details, location, contacts, photos, microphone, advertising IDs (IDFA/AAID). We use no third-party advertising or tracking code and do not track you under App Tracking Transparency.

There is no automated decision-making or profiling. The "level" shown in the app only decides which puzzles are suggested to you; it has no legal or similarly significant effect.

Do you have to give us data? No. An e-mail address is needed only for an account; without it you use the whole app without an account, only syncing is not available. Sharing learning data is optional; saying no does not limit any feature.

5. How long we keep data

On your device: until you delete it (Settings › Reset progress, or uninstall the app).
Account and synced progress: until you delete your account. On deletion your account, synced data, device records, any pending sign-in code and the attempt counter holding your e-mail are deleted at once. Attempt counters holding IP addresses leave within 2 days, and database restore records within 30 days, automatically. The progress on your devices stays on your devices.
Sign-in codes: 10 minutes; expired ones are deleted every night.
Attempt counters: at most 2 days.
Learning data: at most 12 months; older data is deleted automatically every day.
Tip purchase record (RevenueCat): until you ask us to delete it, so that your supporter mark can be restored. If you e-mail us the order number from your Apple or Google receipt, the matching record is deleted from RevenueCat (after that the supporter mark can no longer be restored). Apple and Google keep their own purchase records under their own rules.

6. Who receives data

Infrastructure: Our servers and e-mail sending run on Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) as our processor; by contract it must give your data the same protection described here. Account, sync and learning data are stored in Cloudflare data centres in the European Union. Any processing outside the EU is covered by Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and Cloudflare's participation in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Game Center: if you turn it on, Apple Inc.
Tip purchases: Apple Inc. or Google LLC processes the payment. The purchase record is kept by our processor RevenueCat, Inc. (USA); it is transferred to servers in the USA and RevenueCat must, by contract, give it the same protection described here.
Text-to-speech: Pronunciation uses your operating system's text-to-speech engine; WordKare itself sends no data for this.
Others: We share your data with no one else and never sell it. If the law requires, data is given only to competent authorities, as far as the law requires.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

access your data,
correct it,
delete it,
restrict processing,
receive your data in a portable format,
object to processing based on legitimate interest,
withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect earlier processing).

What you can do yourself:

Delete your account: in the app, Settings › Account and sync › Delete account, or on the web at https://sync.wordkare.salt-tech-apps.com/hesap-sil
Withdraw consent: Settings › Privacy.
Any other request: anyone can write to [email protected], with or without an account. If you have an account, writing from its e-mail address helps us confirm it is you. We answer free of charge within one month.

You can also complain to your data protection authority (for example the AEPD in Spain, or the Personal Data Protection Board in Türkiye).

8. Security

All connections use HTTPS.
The device session key is kept in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain, Android Keystore); it cannot be used on another device, even if a backup moves it there.
The server stores only irreversible hashes of session keys and sign-in codes.
Sign-in attempts are rate-limited.

9. Children

WordKare is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child under 13. If we learn of such an account, we delete it; you can tell us at the address above. If you are under 16 (14 in Spain), do not turn on learning data sharing without a parent's permission.

10. Changes

When this policy changes, the current version is published on this page with its effective date. A change that significantly affects how data is processed is announced here before the app update that brings it.
